My friend, Sy Goldman, a great American, refused to accompany me on a recent journey to Zoo Atlanta, which he refers to as "Animal Prison." I tried to convince him that Zoo Atlanta is a fine zoo and a place which helps to protect endangered species while giving people an opportunity to see real, live animals without having to go through the expense and hassle of booking a flight to, say AFRICA, to actually see them. To no avail.
Some of my fondest childhood memories are of going to the zoo. I could spend days there and, in fact, just became a member. You should, too.

Toward the end of the day I spent there recently, I discovered something which might lend at least a hint of credibility to Sy's outlandish claim that Zoo Atlanta is not a fun place to be if you happen to be an animal. I cannot help but wonder whether this one had tried to escape ...
