Lieutenant Colonel Charles W. Dryden

"A-Train"

September 16, 1920 - June 24, 2008

I was saddened to hear that Lt. Col. Charles Dryden, author of the book A-Train: Memoirs of a Tuskegee Airman, had passed away on June 24th.  I had occasion to photograph Col. Dryden at various events over the years and had the pleasure of speaking with him at the National Museum of Patriotism's Medal of Honor Luncheon in May.  He was a great and gracious man.
