John Mooney

My friend Darren and I went down to Blind Willie's to see John Mooney's show there.  John Mooney is an extraordinary slide guitarist, who studied with the likes of Son House and Professor Longhair and is, according to Bonnie Raitt "the best slide guitarist in the country." It is amazing to me that he is virtually unknown outside of blues circles and that is a shame.  You should check him out if he comes to your town.
