John Farr's Skeleton Bike

John Farr drove over to Marietta, Georgia from his shop in Opelika, Alabama so that I could photograph his titanium skeleton bike, called "The Crypt", for Hot Bike magazine.   The skeleton, which creates the frame of this ground-up custom bike, was investment cast of Grade 2 Titanium and, trust me, everyone who saw it loved it.  Middle-aged domestic engineers would spot us coming down the street out of the windows of shops they were in and would chase us down to get a better look at it, hollering "STOP!  I WANT TO SEE IT!" Men, women and children asked to pose with it for pictures and everyone wanted to know where the gas tank is.

Some of these pictures were featured in the June 2006 issue of Hot Bike Magazine.
