Itty Bitty Kitty
My good friend, Dennis Baird, is sort of the Mother Teresa of the animal world. He's rescued more dogs and cats than I can count. He rescued this kitten recently when he determined that the kitten, who was the runt of the litter, was unable to compete with his siblings for a space at his momma's nipples and would soon starve to death. Dennis took the kitten to his veterinarian and has been bottle-feeding the kitten for several weeks, recently introducing him to the wonderful world of tuna. Although Oscar (apparently, Dennis decided to name him after a popular bologna) currently represents the Lollipop Guild, he is growing by itty bitty leaps and bounds, developing a king-sized curiosity and personality and will no doubt blossom into a huge cat.
